In keeping with the same core gameplay as previous games, Contra: Shattered Soldier is a brutally difficult fast-paced and action packed side scrolling shooter that will test your patience.

Resogun is a visual spectacle and an addicting shooter. It’s also one of the greatest launch titles I’ve ever played. Even with a short arcade mode, it has plenty of content to keep you busy.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a remaster of a masterpiece. Even with it’s fancy visuals and new additions, it doesn’t hold a candle to the original Ninja Gaiden or Ninja Gaiden Black. Some of the gameplay tweaks are questionable but it does manage to rectify some issues that veterans might appreciate. Overall, this is still a great game and gives PlayStation 3 owners a taste of Ninja Gaiden.
Mad Max is an excellent open world game that brings nothing new to the genre. What it does bring is addicting gameplay, a fantastic atmosphere, a beautiful world to explore, and some technical issues.
