Shadowgrounds is a fun and atmospheric top down shooter and feels like a spiritual successor to the classic Alien Breed games.
In its current state, Prodeus is a fun and clearly unfinished violent over-the-top shooter. But releasing this with a functional level editor was a great idea.
Blood II is a disappointing sequel and a messy game. Even for its time it was, at best, an average shooter.
Blood is a great Build engine game and a very memorable shooter thanks to its mix of darkness, humor, violence, and unique arsenal of weapons.
Doom 3 may not be the best Doom game but it’s perfect if you’re looking for a creepy and atmospheric shooter.
Dead Space 3 focuses more on action than horror but it’s still a phenomenal game with a very addictive weapon crafting system.
Dead Space 2 may not convey the same sense of loneliness and isolation as the first game but it’s just as creepy and the gameplay is significantly improved.
Dead Space: Extraction may not convey the same sense of dread as the original Dead Space but it’s one of the best rail shooters for consoles.
Dead Space is brutal, gruesome, creepy, and an absolutely fantastic sci-fi horror game.
